BINDING AGREEMENT: By entering or attempting to enter this Sweepstakes, participants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules, applicable social media terms and to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor.  All federal, state, and local laws apply.  Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification. Void where prohibited. Valid in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia only. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Instagram.

ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open to legal U.S. residents residing and physically located in any of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, and who have reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they live, at the time of Entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents or other representatives of Sponsor or of any of its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Promotion (“Promotion Entities”), and all members of their immediate families and persons living in the same household with them, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. Immediate family members include spouse, parent, child, sibling, including step-parents, children, siblings, half siblings, and all their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside.

ENTRY PERIOD: Entries into the Promotion must be made between 10:00 am Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 and 10:00 am PST on Monday, Tuesday January 24, 2023 (the “Entry Period”). The Sponsor’s computer system is the official timekeeping device with respect to all matters relating to the Promotion. PST means the time in California on the dates in question.

HOW TO ENTER/CREATE AN ENTRY: To be considered an entrant (“Entrant”) in the Promotion, an Entrant must log into their Instagram account during the Entry Period (Entrant may create a non-private Instagram account for free if Entrant does not already have one) and take the following steps which together constitute a single entry (“Entry”):

1. Like the giveaway post.

2. Comment on the post as described in the giveaway caption.

3. Follow @justegg and @scottjurek ​on Instagram.

Entrant must have a non-private Instagram account for their Entry to be publicly visible and entered in the Promotion.

If an Entrant enters from their wireless phone, the Entrant’s wireless service provider may charge the Entrant. Entrants should consult their wireless-service providers regarding their pricing plans prior to entering. Message and data rates may apply.

LIMIT: Each Entrant can earn One (1) Entry by per person across all social media accounts. If an Entrant enters more than one time or on more than one social media account, only their first Entry will be eligible for inclusion in the random selection process, and all subsequent Entries will be discarded.

SPECIFICATIONS REGARDING ENTRIES: By participating in this Promotion, Entrant certifies that Entrant understands that Entrant and not Sponsor or any Promotion Entity is solely responsible for the content of the Entry, that Entrant’s Entry is original, nothing in it has been previously published or won any other promotion, and that the Entry does not contain any material that would violate or infringe on the rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks, or rights of privacy/publicity, and in particular, Entrant represents that Entrant has the consent of any other person appearing in their Entry photo to Entrant’s submission of the photo in connection with the Promotion and to Sponsor’s use of the Entry photo in accordance with these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and unfettered discretion to disqualify any Entry that it believes contains obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content, that does not comply with these Official Rules, or that is not consistent with the spirit or theme of the Promotion. The decision of the Sponsor is final and binding on all matters relating to the Promotion.

PUBLICITY RELEASE: By participating in this Promotion, Entrant grants permission for the Sponsor and Promotion Entities to use their Entry, name, likeness, biographical information, and any Prize awarded, in connection with the Promotion, including announcements on Sponsor’s and Promotion Entities’ social media and web pages, as well as for future advertising and publicity in any and all media now existing or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: By participating in the Promotion, Entrant agrees that they are providing their information to Sponsor and Promotion Entities and to use of Entrant’s personal information by Sponsor and Promotion Entities for both online and offline direct marketing purposes, as well as for administration of the Promotion including, without limitation, verifying Entrant’s eligibility, contacting Entrant regarding Entrant’s Entry, awarding the Prize, avoidance of fraud/tampering, compliance with legal obligations, and analytics and improvement of offerings. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: On or about Tuesday, January 24, 2023, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) grand prize winner by a third party random generator. Potential Winner may be announced, subject to verification, on the social media pages of Sponsor and/or Sponsor’s website. Each Potential Winner will be contacted via direct/private message within seventy-two (72) hours of selection, to the email address used to enter or to the social media account from which the Entry was posted to enter the Promotion, as applicable. Each Potential Winner must respond to the winner notification message and fulfill any additional requirements contained in the winner notification message, including signing and returning an Affidavit of Eligibility, and Liability and Publicity Release (“Release”) to Sponsor within twenty-four (24) hours of notification. Upon satisfaction of these requirements, the Potential Winner will be declared a Winner. In the event that Sponsor is unable to contact a Potential Winner within 24 hours of its first attempt, or a Potential Winner does not comply with all requirements in the winner notification message within the timeframe stated, Sponsor will disqualify that Potential Winner and award the Prize to another eligible Entrant (a “Replacement Potential Winner”) from among all remaining timely submitted, eligible Entries received. The Replacement Potential Winner must comply with all the requirements of this paragraph and the winner notification message, in the same timeframes, as if they had been selected as the disqualified Potential Winner or be disqualified in the manner set forth in this paragraph, in which case additional Replacement Potential Winner(s) will be selected in the same manner as set forth in this paragraph, until the Prize is awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received.

PRIZE: One (1) grand prize consisting of one Apple Watch Ultra with custom JUST Egg watch face, JUST Egg coupons, and fitness tips emailed directly to you from Scott Jurek. The Average Retail Value of the grand prize is $950. Prizes may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash, sold, or traded. No prize transfer, assignment, or substitution by Winner(s) is permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Winner(s) will be solely responsible for any and all local, state, and federal taxes, as well as any license and registration or other fees incurred by participation in the Promotion, including but not limited to transportation costs, gratuities and other items of an incidental nature.  The value of the Prize may be taxable as income, and each Winner is solely responsible for any taxes relating to the Prize received, including, but not limited to, all applicable federal, state, and local taxes if applicable. Each Winner will be required to provide their social security number. Sponsor will report any individual winnings over $600 (in cash or fair market value of goods or services) in a one-year period to the Internal Revenue Service.  Winner(s) will receive a Form 1099 from Sponsor if Sponsor reports any winnings to the Internal Revenue Service.

ENTRANT IDENTITY: In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the individual entering the Promotion or of the Winner of any Prize, the authorized account holder of the email or social media account used to participate in the Promotion will be deemed to be the Entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. Authorized account holder means the natural person who is assigned to the email or social media account. Any questions regarding the authorized account holder of an email account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
